Got Acne Questions? Get Real-Time Answers from a Top Dermatologist

Update: The La Roche-Posay live chat with Dr. Joshua Zeichner on Reddit 'Ask Me Anything' has ended. Dozens of users asked important acne questions, including whether acne can develop later in life (spoiler alert: it can), how to combat hormonal acne, how to reduce the appearance of visible acne scars, and more. If you didn't get a chance to ask one of your acne questions, don't fret. It's possible that another user asked it during the session. For a full list of questions and answers, head to reddit.com

If you don’t suffer from frequent breakouts, chances are you know someone who does. We say this with confidence because acne is the most common skin condition in the United States, affecting up to 50 million people every year. But just because pesky blemishes are common doesn’t necessarily mean proper information on how to address them is as known. Plus, with all the acne myths floating around the beauty sphere, we’re willing to bet you’ve got a question or two you’d like some clarity on. And who better to provide those answers than a board-certified dermatologist?

Good news: La Roche-Posay has partnered up with board-certified dermatologist Dr. Joshua Zeichner for a live chat on Reddit ‘Ask Me Anything’ where users can ask all of their burning acne questions and receive real-time responses. What is adult acne, and does it ever go away? Can you use benzoyl peroxide on sensitive skin? How can you prevent back acne from reoccurring? There are plenty of questions out there, and Dr. Zeichner is prepared to lend his expertise.

What Is a Reddit AMA?

If you’re not familiar with Reddit AMAs, now’s your chance to learn more (and join the conversation). AMA stands for “Ask Me Anything,” and typically involves a Q&A session between a host user (Dr. Zeichner, in this case) and all other users who wish to ask questions. You can ask as many questions as you’d like throughout the session, and you’ll be able to read what other users are asking as well. To see past AMAs, check out Reddit’s AMA page.

Mark your calendars: The La Roche-Posay #BeClearBootcamp Derm Class on Reddit ‘Ask Me Anything’ with Dr. Joshua Zeichner will take place on November 15 at 2 p.m. ET.
