As someone who has gotten her fair share of facials over the years, I can say with authority that some are better than others. What Is HydraFacial?

What I loved about the signature HydraFacial was how it made such a visible difference in the way my skin looked without the downtime that many other device-led facials required. The non-invasive, non-surgical treatment uses a proprietary spiral tip to create a vortex effect that both exfoliates and extracts. In the past I loved it for decongesting my pores—honestly it was, and still is, the only type of extraction I’ve ever felt comfortable with during a facial. The New SkinCeuticals HydraFacial Integrated Treatment

The new protocol—launched earlier this month—for the SkinCeuticals HydraFacial Integrated Treatment complements and enhances the signature treatment of exfoliation, peel, and extraction using a few key SkinCeuticals products. The 50-minute treatment begins with your skin being pre-cleansed with SkinCeuticals Gentle Cleanser which removes any makeup prior to the deep cleansing with SkinCeuticals Simply Clean. Following the cleansing you’ll experience the HydraFacial signature treatment. After the signature treatment, SkinCeuticals steps back in with a 5-10 minute dual-tightening and soothing mask employing its Vitamin C Firming Masque, Equalizing Toner, and Phyto Corrective Gel. Finally, C E Ferulic is layered underneath Triple Lipid Restore 2:4:2 and SkinCeuticals Physical Fusion SPF 50 all over the face, neck and chest. From there you can opt to further customize your facial with a HydraFacial booster.

My thoughts? I left Union Square Laser Dermatology glowing. My skin looked markedly decongested and less rough. Despite the exfoliation and extractions there was truly no downtime as I was able to go right back to work after and straight into a meeting. In the morning I woke up to a radiant-looking complexion and really noticed smaller-looking pores around my nose and cheeks where the congestion was causing them to appear enlarged before the facial.
