Editor's Pick: Lancôme Miel en Mousse Foaming Cleanser Review

Lancome sent the Skincare.com team a complimentary sample of their new Miel-en-Mousse Foaming Cleanser, and—of course—we couldn’t wait to take the formula for a test-drive. Read on for our review of Lancome Miel-en-Mousse Foaming Cleanser, its benefits, how to use it, and more!

Whether you wear makeup or not, cleansing the skin is one of the most important daily skin care steps you can take. By cleansing your skin up to twice per day, you are helping to remove makeup, dirt, excess sebum, and impurities that may be on your skin’s surface and if not removed could lead to clogged pores, a dull skin appearance, and breakouts. In other words, cleansing your skin is simply not worth skipping.

But let’s just say you knew all of this already (high-five!) and cleanse your skin on the regular. Equally as important as cleansing is using the right cleanser for your skin type. If you’re on the hunt for a new cleansing formula to add to your repertoire, give Lancome’s Miel-En-Mousse Foaming Cleanser a try. We took the 2-in-1 cleanser for a spin and are sharing our thoughts with you, ahead. Did Lancome Miel-En-Mousse Foaming Cleanser live up to our expectations? There’s only one way for you to find out!

The Benefits of Lancome Miel-en-Mousse Foaming Cleanser

So, what sets Lancome Miel-en-Mousse Foaming Cleanser apart from the rest? For starters, this cleanser is formulated with acacia honey and functions as both a daily facial cleanser AND a makeup remover. It also boasts an incredibly unique texture that, truth be told, I was not expecting at first. It starts off with a honey-like feel and—upon contact with water—transforms into a foam to help rinse away the lingering makeup, dirt, and unwanted impurities that may be taking up residence on your skin. The result? Skin that feels cleansed and soft.

If you’re a double-cleansing advocate, Miel-en-Mousse Foaming Cleanser may just be your new go-to. Its transformative cleansing formula provides a similar effect to the double-cleansing method. Plus, it cuts one step out of your morning/evening skin care routine.

Who Should Use Lancome Miel-en-Mousse Foaming Cleanser?

Lancome’s Miel-en-Mousse Foaming Cleanser is fit for makeup lovers and skin care enthusiasts alike! Its unique rinse-off formula can help remove unwanted impurities in a pinch, ensuring your complexion is prepped for subsequent hydration.

How to Use Lancome Miel-en-Mousse Foaming Cleanser

Good news! Incorporating Lancome Miel-en-Mousse Foaming Cleanser into your routine is super simple. Here are a few tips on how to make the most out of your cleansing experience with Miel-en-Mousse:

Step one: Apply two to three pumps of Miel-en-Mousse onto your fingertips. You’ll immediately notice what we mean by sticky, honey-like texture. To keep the pump clean from texture filaments, gently slide your hand across the applicator.

Step two: Apply Miel-en-Mousse onto dry skin, gently massaging the entire face. The texture will feel slightly warm as you do so.

Step three: Add lukewarm water to the face with your fingertips. At this point, the honey-like texture will transform into a velvety foam.

Step four: Rinse off generously while keeping your eyes closed.

Editor’s note: To remove eye makeup, use Lancome Bi-Facil Eyes prior to Miel-en-Mousse and complete your regimen with a toner.

Lancome Miel-en-Mousse Foaming Cleanser Review

I’m a huge fan of trying new facial cleansers, so when Lancome sent the Skincare.com team a complimentary sample of Miel-en-Mousse to try, I was very excited to take the charge. I was immediately drawn to the cleanser’s unique honey-like texture and transformative abilities and couldn’t wait to give it a try on my own skin.

The first time I tried Lancome’s Miel-en-Mousse was after a long (and humid) summer day. My skin felt greasy, and I desperately wanted to remove the foundation and concealer I applied earlier in addition to whatever dirt or impurities that accumulated on my skin’s surface over the course of the day. I applied three pumps of Miel-en-Mousse to my fingertips and began massaging it onto my [dry] skin. I could immediately see my makeup beginning to melt away! I kept massaging until every surface was reached, and then added lukewarm water to the mix. Sure enough, the formula began to foam. After rinsing away the foam, my skin felt very soft and clean. It’s safe to say I’m a big fan!
