International Women’s Day 2017 may be behind us, but that hasn’t stopped Urban Decay from continuing the celebration and focusing their philanthropic efforts towards empowering women across the globe. Together with The Ultraviolet Edge—the brand’s global initiative to empower women—Urban Decay has launched a new, limited-edition shade of their coveted Eyeshadow Primer Potion and—get this—100% of the purchase price will be donated to women’s empowerment nonprofits selected by The Ultraviolet Edge! THE ULTRAVIOLET EDGE

Born from the belief that women everywhere should have access to embrace their individuality in everything they do, Urban Decay launched The Ultraviolet Edge— a global initiative that focuses on women’s rights at an international level—in 2015 in hopes of expanding on their philanthropic efforts and making a difference beyond beauty. Since its launch, The Ultraviolet Edge has connected with several nonprofit organizations to help create literacy programs and microloans to women in Uganda, enable young girls in Kenya to get an education, provide legal representation to underserved and abused women in New York City, and more.

With the help of Urban Decay’s devoted followers, fans, and customers, since launching The Ultraviolet Edge in 2015, they have donated around $1.28 million to women’s empowerment nonprofits and have plans to donate another $1 million to reach their five-year goal of $3 million.
