WHAT IS A “PROMPOSAL”? 

It’s called the AcneFree Promposal Contest, which should be your first indication that a “promposal” is involved. If this has you scratching your head, don’t fret. We’re explaining what a promposal is to help clear the air for anyone who isn’t already aware. 

A “promposal” is—in short—a way of asking someone to prom. Where we once would rely on phone calls and text messages to ask our friends to prom, the newer generation of prom-goers have brought forth promposals which undeniably sets the bar higher. Promposals often include creative and elaborate ways of asking someone to be their prom date. Some are public, some are private, some are prepared and thought about for months, and some even go viral, but the one thing they all have in common is the incorporation of the ever-important question: will you go to prom with me?

HOW TO ENTER THE ACNEFREE PROMPOSAL CONTEST 

You’re three steps away from winning $1000 towards the prom of your dreams! Here’s how to enter:

Step one: Follow @acnefree on Instagram (if you don’t already!).

Step two: Upload a photo, photo collage, or video of your promposal on your Instagram page. Include a brief description of your promposal in the caption, along with the words “Contest Entry.”

Step three: Tag @acnefree in your photo and include #AcneFreePromposal before submitting!

The fine details: The promposal must be one you have either given or received. To enter, you must be in the photo or video submission. To be eligible to win, submit your entry by 11:59 PM ET on April 22, 2018. Keep in mind that you can only enter once—per person, per Instagram handle—during the contest period.
