The Lancôme Rose Sugar Scrub Is the Facial Exfoliator You’ve Been Waiting For
When it comes to regaining a youthful and radiant-looking complexion, we like turning to facial exfoliators to slough away dead surface cells that can impede our progress. But rather than reaching for harsh and abrasive exfoliators, consider gentle formulas that are suitable for all skin types—even sensitive skin—like Lancôme’s new Rose Sugar Scrub. We took the formula for a test-drive after receiving a complimentary sample from the brand. From benefits to how to use it, read on for everything you need to know about Lancôme Rose Sugar Scrub.
WHY YOU SHOULD EXFOLIATE YOUR SKIN
Not a seasoned exfoliator? No problem! It’s never too late to start sloughing away dead skin cells from your skin’s surface to reveal brighter-looking skin. As a reminder, exfoliating is the act of removing the topmost layer of skin either mechanically (with tools or a scrub) or chemically (with acids) to reveal new skin cells. Why is this important, exactly? By shedding the topmost layer of skin—which is essentially the oldest layer of skin—you can reveal younger-looking skin that appears brighter. Board-certified dermatologist, and Skincare.com consultant, Dr. Dendy Engelman tells us, “Exfoliating helps remove the dead skin buildup on surface skin to reveal younger-looking skin. It’s an easy way to achieve radiant and glowing skin!”

Lancôme Rose Sugar Scrub Review
Recommended for: All skin types, even sensitive.
Upon application, I was immediately impressed by the formula’s gentle texture and subtle scent. The blend of sugar grains, rose water, and honey instantly dissolved onto my skin, which led to an exceptionally comfortable exfoliating experience. Unlike facial exfoliators with harsh beads or grains, Rose Sugar Scrub felt gentle on my complexion.
As far as results go, I was incredibly pleased. After gently massaging and rinsing away the scrub, I noticed my skin looked smoother, more radiant and even. My final verdict? Lancôme Rose Sugar Scrub gets a perfect score from me. My only complaint is that I wish there was more of the formula in the squeeze tube so I could enjoy it for longer!
