I happily volunteered to give it a whirl first, and am here to share my thoughts. PRODUCT REVIEW: IT COSMETICS CONFIDENCE IN A COMPACT

Who knew so much awesomeness could be stored in a tiny, unassuming compact? I’m happy to report that Confidence in a Compact exceeded all of my expectations. Thanks to its lightweight texture, the product felt weightless on my skin save for a flattering tint that helped camouflage some of my problem areas. Since I think the coverage is pretty light, I’d recommend Confidence in a Compact solely for helping to cover minor skin flaws and blemishes. Anything more than that for me may need additional coats of concealer. Not a huge deal considering most gals have concealer handy, anyway. Also, the finish is slightly dewy rather than matte. On days where I’m looking for a healthy-looking glow, I play up the dewiness with subsequent applications of highlighter and other skin-illuminating products.

My favorite part about Confidence in a Compact is that it is formulated with broad-spectrum SPF 50+. The sun’s harmful UV rays account for a number of negative skin side effects, including visible signs of aging. No thank you! I always appreciate a multi-tasking product that can help shield my skin from harmful sun, whether it’s a moisturizer or a solid compact.

My final verdict? Confidence in a Compact gets a full five stars from me. My skin feels hydrated and comfortable after use, not to mention the visible radiance! Thanks to its compact packaging, I can carry it with me and touch up my skin anywhere and everywhere…which is exactly what I plan to do.

Editor’s note: The shades did appear a bit darker in the pan compared to how it translated onto my complexion. The brand recommends the medium shade for light-to-medium skin tones. When in doubt, try on some swatches at your local Ulta.
