Finding a concealer that can temporarily conceal the look of my skin’s stubborn imperfections has always been at the top of my beauty “to do” list. And while I have found some that can get the job done, none of them quite compare to Dermablend’s concealers—seriously, their formulas are like magic! So, when the brand sent over a complimentary care package stocked full of their most coveted concealers for us beauty editors to test and review, I eagerly volunteered to be the Skincare.com office guinea pig. See the full lineup—and my honest reviews of each— below.
DERMABLEND QUICK-FIX CONCEALER REVIEW
Recommended For: Temporarily concealing scars, dark under-eye circles, age spots, bruises, freckles, and blemishes.
Looking for the ultimate full-coverage concealer stick that can temporarily mask pesky scars, bruises, dark under-eye circles, age spots, and more? Look no further than Dermablend’s Quick-Fix Concealer! Enriched with the brand’s Camo-Pigments® Technology—a full-coverage, blendable formula that can camouflage blemishes on the skin—the Quick-Fix Concealer can provide the skin with full coverage for up to 16 hours when used with the brand’s coveted Setting Powder. Ideal for on-the-go touchups and quick fixes, the applicator makes it easy to conceal and cover without looking caked on.
Why We Love It: It’s safe to say that finding a concealer that camouflages with the skin and reduces the appearance of hard to cover bruises, scars, under-eye circles, age spots, and so on, are few and far between. However, they do exist! When Dermablend sent us their concealers , I was extra excited to try the Quick-Fix Concealer, as I have a couple scars on my hands (pictured above) that I wanted to test the concealer on. I’m happy to report that with just a few quick swipes of the stick concealer my scars nearly vanished completely!
How To Use It: To use Dermablend’s Quick-Fix Concealer, simply apply the stick concealer directly on your face. Once your blemish is concealed, gently pat your fingers to blend the edges and camouflage the concealer with your complexion. Follow up with a generous amount of Dermablend’s Setting Powder. Allow it to set for two minutes and brush off excess powder with a clean makeup brush. Wear it alone or with the brand’s Cover Creme Foundation!
Editor’s Tip: Although the concealer is formulated to use on your complexion, you can also use it to cover small scars or marks on your hands and arms (like I did). For other body blemishes, we recommend using Dermablend’s Leg and Body Cover.
DERMABLEND LIQUID CAMO CONCEALER REVIEW
Recommended For: Temporarily concealing redness, uneven skin tone, dark under-eye circles, and freckles.
For those who are looking for a concealer with a little less coverage, reach for Dermablend’s Liquid Camo Concealer. Formulated to temporarily conceal and camouflage redness, uneven skin tone, dark under-eye circles, and more, this liquid concealer can provide the skin with medium coverage for up to 16 hours when used with the setting powder(?). Developed with the brand’s Camo-Pigments® Technology—a highly pigmented, ultra-blendable formula that can provide the complexion with natural-looking, camouflaged skin—the Liquid Camo Concealer blends smoothly onto the skin without a cakey appeal. In addition, this liquid concealer is non-comedogenic—meaning, it won’t clog pores—fragrance-free, and is suitable for use on sensitive skin types.
Why We Love It: As someone with melasma on their upper lip, I am always on the lookout for the next best concealer that can—at the very least—temporarily conceal my uneven skin tone. So, when Dermablend sent us their Liquid Camo Concealer, I was especially excited to see what it could do for my skin condition. And after applying a few dabs of the medium coverage concealer with the super easy-to-use applicator, I am happy to report that I was able to conceal the discoloration and seamlessly blend the liquid formula into my skin with just a few quick swipes and dabs of my fingertips. In addition to testing it on my melasma, I also tried the Liquid Camo Concealer on my dark under-eye circles and let’s just say it passed with flying colors!
How To Use It: To use Dermablend’s Liquid Camo Concealer on your complexion, use the applicator to dab the concealer directly onto your face. Next, use your fingertips or a beauty blending sponge to gently blend the concealer into your complexion. Follow up with a generous amount of the brand’s Setting Powder and allow everything to set for about two minutes. Wipe away the excess powder with a clean makeup brush and voíla!
DERMABLEND SMOOTH INDULGENCE REDNESS CONCEALER REVIEW
Recommended For: Temporarily concealing redness, blotchiness, and blemishes.
Tinted green to temporarily neutralize redness on the complexion, the Smooth Indulgence Redness Concealer from Dermablend is a blendable, non-comedogenic, non-acnegenic, fragrance-free liquid concealer that can conceal any blemish or imperfection with a red hue and provide the complexion with an all day matte finish.
Why We Love It: Color correction has to be one of my favorite makeup trends of the year. Got dark under-eye circles? There’s a color corrector for that. Bright red pimple? There’s a color corrector for that, too! And while there are so many different color correcting shades to choose from, the one us beauty editors believe every gal should have in her makeup bag (you know, in case of emergency) is green. This is because green can cancel out visible redness on the skin. The Smooth Indulgence Redness Concealer from Dermablend is a foolproof way to mask blotchiness, blemishes, or any other kind of redness your complexion might fall victim to! You can mix it with your BB cream or foundation for all over coverage or target specific areas of concern—think: a random pimple in the middle of your forehead—by dabbing a small amount over the affected area.
How To Use It: To conceal redness all over your complexion, apply your foundation or BB cream to the back of your hand along with a few drops of the Smooth Indulgence Redness Concealer. Mix the formulas together and apply directly to your skin with your fingertips or a beauty blending sponge. To conceal a specific area of concern, apply a small amount of the color correction concealer directly to your skin and gently pat your fingers to blend the edges. Follow up with a generous amount of the brand’s Setting Powder and allow everything to set for two minutes before brushing off the excess powder with a clean makeup brush.

Recommended For: Temporarily highlighting dull skin, brightening dark under-eye circles, and enhancing features such as your brows, lips, and cheeks.
