Below we share our Dermablend foundation reviews, the best Dermablend foundation for each skin concern, and more.
Dermablend Cover Creme Review
To start our Dermablend foundation reviews we reached for Cover Creme. This full-coverage cream foundation is one of the brand’s most popular foundations and has a rating of five stars based upon approximately 271 reviews from customers on the brand’s website. We have to say, after trying it ourselves we can see why. The full-coverage cream foundation can cover almost everything from birthmarks and bruising to burns, hyperpigmentation, post-operative concerns, scars, and vitiligo. Cover Creme comes in a 1-ounce pot and with a small spatula to remove the product—to help minimize your chances of contaminating the product with any lingering germs on your hands. It goes on heavy so a little bit goes a long way and the finish is velvety and smooth. When worn with the brand’s Setting Powder it helps reinforce the wearability for up to 16 hours of consistent color wear. The non-comedogenic foundation is fragrance-free, so it’s a great option for those with sensitive skin. What’s more, it is formulated with SPF 30 so you can rest assured that you’re also being protected from the effects of the sun’s damaging rays. When reviewing Cover Creme the only thing we noticed was that if you have dry skin you’ll want to make sure you use a moisturizer prior to application. With 21 diverse shades there is a Cover Creme option for nearly everyone.
To use: Remove a small amount of the Cover Creme from the pot and heat the product with your fingertip to soften the cream which makes it more blendable. Apply directly over any visible imperfection and use a tapping motion to cover. If needed, allow the foundation to dry and apply an additional layer. Finish up with a generous amount of Setting Powder, let sit for two minutes, and then brush away excess.

Dermablend Blurring Mousse Camo Foundation Review
If you have oily, combination, or acne-prone skin, the Dermablend Blurring Mousse Camo Foundation is for you. The oil-free foundation offers medium coverage, making it a good option for smoothing the appearance of bumps, crevices, and enlarged pores. When we reviewed the Blurring Mousse Camo Foundation what we loved most was the super-blendable foundation’s fresh mousse texture and matte finish. All of us felt like it was enough coverage to adequately conceal any acne, redness, and scars we had on our complexions. With 12 shades to choose from, there aren’t quite as many options as are there are with Cover Creme, but there are certainly good choices among the available shades. This foundation was formulated with uneven skin texture in mind and it truly helps to even the appearance of skin on top of concealing blemishes, rosacea, and some birthmarks. With SPF 25, the foundation can help to protect skin from the sun’s harmful rays.
To use: We recommend using a beauty blender sponge to apply this mousse foundation. Wet the sponge and then squeeze a small amount of the foundation onto it. Start with the inside of the face and tap to blend outward. If you feel that you need extra coverage you can repeat.
Dermablend Intense Powder Camo Review
Prefer powder? Try the Intense Powder Camo foundation. When we reviewed this powder foundation we found that it was truly buildable, starting out with a medium coverage but growing to full if you needed it. We loved the natural finish it gave our skin and its ability to camouflage redness, acne, uneven skin tone, and birthmarks. The non-comedogenic powder is available in 15 shades for a diverse number of skin tones, and unlike many other powder foundations, feels plush and not cakey.
To use: After using a primer, apply with a fluffy powder brush, buffing and blending from the inside of your face to the outer corners. If you prefer a dewy finish, take a damp blender sponge and gently tap it over your face or you can use a dewy-finish setting spray.

Dermablend Smooth Liquid Camo Foundation Review
We’ve reviewed a cream, mousse, and powder—but the true foundation test always comes down to liquid. For girls with dry skin liquid foundation is typically the go-to and our review of Dermablend’s Smooth Liquid Camo Foundation proved why. This medium-coverage foundation seamlessly concealed our visible skin imperfections—everything from redness and blemishes to uneven tone and freckles were covered—and left us with a smooth-looking finish. The breathable formula was great for long-lasting wear—up to 16 hours of coverage when used with the brand’s Setting Powder. Plus, it felt hydrating on our dry skin and we loved that it was formulated with broad-spectrum SPF 25. It’s 15 shades offer up options for most skin tones and ethnicities.
To use: When using liquid foundation, we always opt for a damp beauty blender sponge—just make sure it’s clean. If you want you can use your fingers or a foundation brush as well. Starting at the inside of your face, tap the sponge outward, blending the foundation as you go. If you need additional coverage you can always apply a little more foundation to the sponge. To set, reach for Dermablend’s Setting Powder, apply a generous amount, sit for two minutes, and then brush away the excess.
