The House 99 Shaving Stick Isn’t Just for Beards
Honestly, I think shaving is a huge hassle. But as someone who loves the feel of soft, smooth legs, I do it anyway. I’m very lazy about it, though. I don’t exfoliate beforehand, I always miss spots and I don’t use shaving cream because I’m convinced that my conditioner works just fine. But after receiving the House 99 Sharp Cut Shaving Stick (it was created for men but women love it, too) from the Brand to try and review, I can honestly say it totally changed my shaving game. Read on for my full review.
According to House 99, this shaving stick is made to give men a smooth finish when grooming their beards. It’s packaged like a deodorant and is formulated with spirulina, quinoa, antioxidants and vitamins. The formula is designed to help protect the skin from micro cuts, reduce the number of ingrown hairs and provides a soothing effect on razor bumps while leaving the skin moisturized and supple after shaving.
My House 99 Sharp Cut Shaving Stick Review
Before even using the product, I was immediately drawn to the packaging. I love that it’s a solid formula so it’s not messy to use and is travel-friendly. When I first used it, I twisted the bottom of the stick to raise the balm and applied it directly onto my wet legs. I immediately noticed how seamlessly the formula glided across my legs leaving behind a white layer of product. This acted as a guideline, which was helpful for me to see where I had already shaved and what was left.
I like that this formula provides a fresh feeling during application and it spreads evenly. My favorite part of the entire experience, though, was the smell of the shaving stick. It smells like my boyfriend after he sprays on my favorite cologne. While it definitely leans on the masculine side, it’s still very fresh, clean and not overbearing.
Between its easy-to-use application, the ability to leave my skin smooth and moisturized and the incredible scent, the House 99 Sharp Cut Shaving Stick is definitely my new in-shower must-have.
