5 Skin-Care Brands Giving Back In Honor of International Women’s Day — And How You Can Get Involved

International Women’s Day is here! This day calls for showing extra love and appreciation for all of the women in your life, but why not the women you don’t know? To show support for organizations helping women, some of our favorite skin-care and beauty brands are giving back today. By purchasing a product today, you’ll play a role in supporting women who are the first in their family to graduate from high school, giving someone who’s battling cancer a bedside manicure, and more. Ahead, find five beauty brands donating to organizations to learn how you can help out this International Women’s Day.

Nuria / She’s the First

Plant-based, cruelty-free skin-care line Nuria is donating 100% of the proceeds from its Global Beauty Wisdom Set to She’s the First, an organization supporting girls who will be the first person in their family to graduate high school. She’s the First provides scholarships, training and mentors to help them become global leaders.

W3LL People, Tata Harper & Credo Beauty / Lipstick Angels

Twenty percent of all proceeds from the sale of W3LL People products on W3LLPEOPLE.com, Credo Beauty and TataHarper.com will be donated to Lipstick Angels, a non-profit organization whose goal is to “uplift, restore and inspire women going through chemotherapy.” Lipstick Angels provides bedside beauty services to patients undergoing treatment.

Wander Beauty / Dress to Success

Fifteen percent of all sales on WanderBeauty.com will go to Dress for Success, an organization with the goal of empowering women to achieve economic independence. If you’re looking for inspo on what to purchase, we highly recommend the brand’s On the Glow Blush and Illuminator.

Artis / Step Up

Artis is donating 100% of profits from its BrushCraft Collection and Cleaning System to “organizations that help build more fair and equal communities by providing women with the resources needed to thrive.” One of the organizations is Step Up, which is on a mission to propel girls living or going to school in under-resourced communities to reach their full potential. You can get 50% off the system from now through 11:59 p.m. on March 8.

L’Occitane / Burkina Faso

L’Occitane is donating 100% of the profits from its Shea Orange Blossom Fragrance Solidarity Balm to support women’s leadership in Burkina Faso, a landlocked country in West Africa where thousands of women produce shea butter.
