8 New Skincare Products Our Editors Are Loving This May
It’s a brand new month, which means that a new round of products is making its way onto store websites and into our medicine cabinets. These are the products Skincare.com’s editors can’t live without this May.

Kiehl’s Creme de Corps is my favorite body lotion, hands down. The cocoa butter and squalane formula feels so rich and luxe, yet somehow it absorbs quickly and doesn’t weigh my skin down. I truly can’t get enough, so I was excited to learn that the brand is now offering it in refillable pouches. Not only is this format better for the environment, but because it’s priced at less than the one liter bottle, it’ll save me money, too.

This clarifying essence has been a must-have in my spring skincare routine. It’s super calming, gently exfoliates and leaves my skin feeling detoxed, plump and firm. I also love that it’s very subtly fragranced and absorbs lightning fast.
Redness from post-acne marks are the bane of my skin’s existence, and I’ve never found the right type of product to address it. This past month, I got my hands on this Recovery Serum from Glow Recipe, hoping it would change my fate. With avocado butter, allantoin, rice milk and ceramides, this creamy and delicate serum feels cooling upon application and immediately calms the skin. After using it for a few weeks, my post-acne discoloration has never looked better — and by better, I mean, it’s gone!

Kiehl’s just released its signature Rosewater Toner in a new limited-edition bottle to celebrate the brand’s 170th (!) birthday. Made with real Turkish rose petals, this product looks and smells gorgeous, plus it’s perfect for dry, sensitive skin like mine. I used to shy away from toners for fear of them stripping my skin, but this one is so gentle, my face never feels dry or tight after using it.

As someone who blows through sunscreen faster than the average person (redhead problems) I’m always on the lookout for new options. My ideal sunscreen is non-greasy, hydrating and won’t leave a white cast, and Cerave’s new Hydrating Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 Sheer Face Tint crosses everything off my checklist. The sheer tint blends seamlessly into my skin, leaving me with a subtle glow, plus it contains my skincare savior, hyaluronic acid, to keep moisture locked in while I’m out in the sun.

I’m all for a no-makeup makeup look that lets my skin shine through — even though I don’t have perfect skin (who does, anyway?) To give myself a dab of coverage before heading onto video calls, I’ve been using the NYX Professional Makeup Bare With Me Luminous Tinted Skin Serum. This lightweight tinted serum helps me achieve that minimalistic look I’m after by evening my skin tone and texture so I don’t feel like I’m bearing it all in front of my coworkers. I simply apply the serum onto my skin and in under a minute, I’m good to go for the day. I highly recommend this product for an all day luminous finish that feels as weightless as a second skin.
When it comes to a morning routine, I’m as diligent as they come. I very rarely switch things up, but when I came across these sparkly, ultra-soothing under-eye masks, I had no choice but to put them on immediately. Made of hydrating hyaluronic acid, skin-balancing niacinamide and cooling crystal extract, these hydrogel masks de-puff and soothe the under-eye area. The masks work like a cup of coffee for your face to recharge tired eyes, which I find especially helpful after a late night.

Ensuring that my makeup is thoroughly removed is a staple part of my nighttime skincare routine. Once I started double cleansing, I never looked back and I made it my mission to find the most effective cleansing balms and oils. This limited-edition, apple-scented version of Farmacy’s beloved Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm is my current go-to. Not only does it smell fresh and juicy, but the texture is incredibly soft and it does an amazing job at breaking down my makeup, including several coats of mascara.
