A post shared by Baxter of California (@baxterofca) on Sep 14, 2017 at 8:48pm PDT Why We Love ItWell, let’s start with the obvious. We’re hardcore fans of this daily face wash because it does exactly what it says it will. After receiving complimentary samples of Baxter of California’s Sulfate-Free Face Wash, we couldn’t wait to head to the sink and give it a whirl—and we were far from disappointed with the results. The deep cleaning cleanser removes excess oil, dirt and debris, without over-drying. When all is said and done, our skin was left feeling smooth, revitalized and refreshed, not to mention ready for our next skin care step. As for the formula, we can’t sing its praises highly enough. The cleanser is formulated with much-loved ingredients like aloe vera, caffeine, and vitamins E and A. As for what it’s formulated without, go ahead and add parabens, fragrance, and sulfates to that list. Yep, that’s certainly enough to sell us on this face wash. How to Use ItWhen it comes to cleansing, you’re most likely aware that water usually will need to come into the equation at some point. But when should you add it into the mix? Rather than trying to suds up your skin before getting wet, you’ll want to splash some water on your face prior to ever picking up your face wash. Once your skin is wet, gently massage the cleanser onto your face, avoiding contact with your eyes. As you massage, the cleanser will form into a mild foam to help wash away impurities from the surface of skin. After cleansing, rinse thoroughly. Then, remember cleansing isn’t the end of the line—it’s just the beginning. When you’re finished washing, try using the the Baxter of California Herbal Mint Toner and Oil Free Moisturizer to round out your routine. Another trick? Smooth on your moisturizer while your skin is still damp from washing. According to the American Academy of Dermatology, you’ll help lock in more moisture that way.
