7 Skin-Care Products to Try at Home This June
It’s a brand new month, which means different products are making their way into our bathroom cabinets and at-home skin-care routines. These are the products Skincare.com’s editors can’t live without this June while we practice social distancing inside or outside.

Even though I consider myself a skin-care lover, I always shied away from toners because I thought they were drying and formulated only for people with oily skin. With the right formula in your arsenal, I’ve recently learned, that’s not the case. The Tonique Confort is gentle on my dry, sensitive skin, as well as moisturizing. Since I started using it, I’ve noticed that my skin is more balanced and that the products I apply after it absorb better and seem to be more effective. It’s now a must-have in my morning and nighttime routines.

When summertime rolls around, my combination skin goes a little haywire, and the rising temperatures mixed with makeup can cause me to break out pretty easily. I’m not one to use an acne cleanser because I find them to be too aggressive for my skin, but the Space Wash by Starface is different. This clean formula contains white willow bark extract, safe leaf extract, holy basil leaf extract, chamomilla flower extract and calendula for a gentle, exfoliating and soothing wash. After trying it, I was impressed by how calm my skin felt and appeared. I found it to be as gentle as it claims to be, and I foresee myself using it in the coming warmer months.

I’ve made the switch to aluminum-free deodorants a long time ago, but I hadn’t tried an aluminum-free deodorant spray until now. I’ve been loving this one because as the temperatures start to get warmer (and I admittedly begin to get sweatier), the spray nozzle makes it so easy to reapply throughout the day. Between the incredible lavender and white tea scent and the fast-absorbing formula, this spray keeps me feeling clean and fresh all day long.

I’m a BB cream girl through and through, especially come summertime. My newest obsession is the Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream. It’s super lightweight, contains titanium dioxide broad spectrum SPF 30 and gives my skin the glowy, dewy sheen I’m always trying to attain. It applies super sheer and honestly feels (and looks!) like a second skin. I normally struggle to find complexion products that don’t give my fair skin and orange hue. But once blended in, this BB cream totally matched my skin tone, gave me a blurred finish and hydrated my skin from morning till night.
My skin has been feeling especially dry that past few months. I’m not sure if it’s due to my new acne medication, the change in the weather, stress or a combination of everything. Regardless, I’ve had peeling, tightness and dryness like never before. When Seiso J-Beauty sent over their new Ceramide Concentrate for me to try, I had a feeling it might be the product to save my dry skin. Turns out, I was right. Long-chain ceramides work to replenish the daily loss of ceramides, fatty acids and cholesterol in the skin. Within just a few weeks, I noticed my skin looked plumper and less red and felt so much more moisturized.

Eye cream is the one product in my routine that I’m constantly switching out. I’ve tried seemingly every eye cream under the sun, but I haven’t been able to find one that actually gives me the bright, awake look I’m going for. Enter I Dew Care’s new vitamin C eye cream, and I may have a new front-runner. Besides vitamin C, it hascaffeine and hyaluronic acid in the formula, so I get an instant glow boost the minute I apply it. I’m also super sensitive around my eye area, and I haven’t noticed any irritation from this cream –– a huge win in my book. Plus, the included applicator keeps the jar sanitary and feels like a mini facial-roll moment.
