12 New Skincare Products That Our Editors Are Stocking Up on for the Winter
It’s a brand new month, which means that new products are making their way onto store websites and shelves and into our medicine cabinets. These are the products Skincare.com’s editors can’t live without this December.

Complete with electrolytes, hyaluronic acid, vitamin E, provitamin B5 plus magnesium and potassium, this powerhouse primer is a must-try. It has a cooling finish after application and makes the skin look plump, smooth and radiant.
Any lip butter that’s sweet and hydrating automatically gets bookmarked in my skincare stash, but this cookie butter scented balm takes the notion to the next level. It’s super addictive, extremely moisturizing and gives the slightest brown tint, making it the ultimate skincare-makeup hybrid in my lip collection this season. I can’t get enough!

I make no exaggeration when I say that this anti-aging serum is probably the most innovative skincare product I’ve seen (and experienced) this year. Hyaluronic acid, vitamin C and a niacinamide and ferulic acid combo are stored in separate chambers within the bottle to ensure efficacy. It feels amazing on skin, but I’m most excited to see results like improved volume of skin over the next several weeks of use.
I’ve recently discovered the wonders of face shaving (thanks, TikTok) which include better absorption of skincare and an overall increased glow. The Hot Shave Razor creates a whole different experience when removing unwanted peach fuzz compared to your run-of-the-mill shaver from the beauty supply store. It has an ergonomic handle, as well as a conveniently placed finger divot for better grip and easy control. Plus, it’s refillable.

Lancôme Emily in Paris: For The Love of Paris Advanced Génifique Face Serum (Coming Soon)
This cult-favorite serum helps repair the skin’s natural moisture barrier to protect against environmental stressors and keep skin smooth and silky. It contains ceramides and hyaluronic acid, two of my favorite ingredients for ultra-dry skin, as well as bifidius prebiotic to help repair the surface of the skin. And the new, limited-edition packaging inspired by Emily in Paris will look cute on my vanity.
I used to think eye cream was unnecessary, until I came across this product. The creamy, emollient texture melts into my skin and makes my under eyes feel so silky and moisturized, I never skip an application. It contains peptides to help firm the skin, vitamin C for a brightening effect and bakuchiol, a gentler alternative to retinol that helps reduce the appearance of crow’s feet and fine lines.

Though my skin gets extra red and chapped in the winter, I like to keep my face makeup to a minimum, but finding a lightweight formula that completely covers those spots has been difficult, until I tried this concealer-serum hybrid. A little goes a long way with this product — less than one pump covers my dark circles and red spots. Plus it works overtime to keep my skin feeling hydrated thanks to a mix of tremella mushroom, cica and green tea in the formula.
I don’t know what has been in the air this year, but my lips really struggled with the season change. No matter how much lip balm I layered on, they felt extremely dry, cracked and painful. In a last ditch effort to revive them I tried out this lip mask before I went to sleep and woke up to incredibly smooth, rejuvenated lips. A mix of botanical oils and apple water work to deeply hydrate and lock in moisture while shea butter nourishes. One thing’s for sure — I’m not going anywhere this winter without this lip mask.

I’ve been spending way more time looking down at my phone and laptop these days than I normally have. Whether it’s due to a TikTok obsession or WFH, it feels like my neck lines are growing deeper by the day. While that might be a slight exaggeration, my neck looks a lot older than it should at my age. To target the early signs of aging on my neck, I enlisted the help of this daily retinol cream formulated specifically for the area. The formula contains a neck-specific dose of pure, slow-release retinol to help firm and support the neck skin’s resistance to aging. Bonus: it doesn’t irritate the delicate skin and I’ve already noticed a difference after about a month of using it.
Masks are definitely still a thing and, unfortunately, so is my maskne. It’s not nearly as bad now, though, thanks to my latest skincare obsession: the Pholk Beauty Honeysuckle Rose Hydrating Mist. This hydrating spray is powered by a blend of soothing botanicals and is the only reason my maskne is under control. I keep it in my bag at all times so I can spritz it on my face for a quick refresh after wearing a mask for long periods of time.

This time of year, I love to stock up on my pricey skincare favorites at a great value. As the cold weather approaches, I enjoy incorporating a facial oil into my nighttime skincare routine, and I love this one because it’s deeply hydrating while not leaving a greasy residue on my skin. Plus, it’s incredibly fast absorbing and layers well under any moisturizer. With this duo, my stash will remain replenished for months to come.
I started experimenting with vitamin C in the last year or so, and it’s been really difficult to find a formula that I love. Many of the previous serums I’ve tried were gritty or tacky, and made only a marginal difference in my skin. But this incredible formula totally swept me off my feet. It’s lightweight, smooth in texture and not sticky whatsoever. After using it daily for a few weeks, I’ve noticed a significant improvement in the brightness of my skin.
