- 9 Summer Skincare Products Our Editors Are Adding to Cart This July
It’s a brand new month, which means that a new round of products is making its way onto store websites and shelves and into our medicine cabinets. These are the products Skincare.com editors can’t live without this July.

Lancôme Advanced Génifique Eye Cream
In the summer, I typically reach for refreshing eye gels over thick, nourishing creams, but I’ve made an exception for this newly revamped formula. It’s fast-absorbing so it doesn’t feel heavy on my under-eye area. It contains bifidus prebiotic (the same star ingredient found in the brand’s must-have Advanced Génifique Serum), hyaluronic acid and vitamin C to smooth fine lines, brighten dark circles and improve the skin barrier. I’ll definitely be using this eye cream year-round.

NYX Professional Makeup Pore Filler Targeted Stick
My combination skin always needs a little help in the summer, especially if I’m outside in the heat, and this blurring stick does just the trick. It can be used under or on top of makeup to minimize excess oil and shine and comes in a compact stick that I can bring with me to the beach or for a night out.
This exfoliating body gel has become a staple in my summer body-care routine because it’s gentle and effective. It contains a combination of glycolic, lactic and mandelic acids to exfoliate and brighten the skin, plus allantoin to leave your skin feeling moisturized and not stripped.

My main skin concerns are dehydration and dullness — I want to look glowy and awake, not dry and tired. This prebiotic concentrate from Vichy contains the brand’s signature volcanic water as well as Vitreoscilla ferment, both of which are known to strengthen the skin barrier and help it recover faster from environmental stressors. Meanwhile, niacinamide soothes sensitive skin and helps prevent moisture loss. After applying, I’m left looking like I slept eight hours and got in my eight glasses of water (even when I really didn’t!).

Maybelline Fit Me! Matte + Poreless Mattifying Face Primer
My face sweats more than any part of my body — especially in the summer months. This makes wearing a full face of makeup all day nearly impossible. But since introducing this primer into my routine, my makeup has miraculously stayed put. It keeps my face matte for 16 hours in the heat while minimizing the look of my pores, preventing cakiness and melting. The added SPF 20 in the formula is also a nice touch to keep me feeling protected.
StackedSkincare Cryo Sculpting Roller
Puffy eyes and face inflammation are things of the past thanks to this roller. Instead of reaching for coffee in the morning, I grab this from the freezer and gently roll under my eyes, along the hollows of my cheeks and jawline for an instant pick-me-up. The cooling sensation it provides is ultra soothing and visibly depuffs my face. I feel like my self-care game is forever changed and I’m especially excited to use this as the weather heats up as a luxe way to cool down at home.

La Roche-Posay Anthelios Cooling Water-Lotion Sunscreen SPF 30
This sunscreen is coming everywhere with me this summer. The formula (which, by the way, actually feels like water) absorbs into the skin in a matter of seconds without leaving behind white cast or an oily finish. It’s so comfortable that I honestly forget I’m wearing sunscreen because I don’t feel slimy like I usually do while SPF. So, whether I’m headed to the pool, the beach or out for a drink with friends, this sunscreen has me covered — literally.
My acne-prone skin doesn’t fare well in the summer thanks to sweat, heat and humidity. With a bunch of breakouts popping up over the last few weeks, I decided it was time to try an at-home facial steamer in the hopes that it would unclog my pores. After treating myself to a spa-quality steam for ten minutes twice a week, I’ve noticed that my pores look smaller and my breakouts have calmed down quite a bit.

Volition Beauty Skin Rhythm Balancing & Clearing Serum
As someone who struggles with hormonal acne around my chin, I was so excited to test out this serum which was formulated in partnership with Dr. Jackie Walters, a board-certified OBGYN. It has salicylic, azelaic, and mandelic acids to treat excess sebum and blemishes that occur as a result of hormone imbalances. I love that it’s gentle on my skin, isn’t sticky and creates a subtle glow all while addressing my problem area.
