It’s a brand new month, which means that a new round of products is making its way onto store websites and shelves and into our medicine cabinets. These are the products Skincare.com’s editors can’t live without this August.

I’m no stranger to dark circles (thanks genetics), but lately I’ve also been dealing with puffy, tired eyes when I wake up in the morning. That’s what prompted me to try this new hyaluronic acid and caffeine eye serum formula that promises to revitalize the under eye area and help reduce the appearance of fine lines and dullness. I’ve definitely noticed a difference after putting this one to the test because now when I get up, I look a whole lot more awake and not as drowsy as I sometimes feel .
For some reason, I typically despise sunscreen lotion for the body, and I have a good feeling it’s due to PTSD from greasy sunscreen experiences in the past. That’s why sunscreen sprays have become my favorite way to apply sunscreen all over my body (they’re so much easier!) and this clean option from Bask has become my total favorite. It doesn’t leave behind any whitecast, smells subtly sweet and is literally the antithesis of grease.

During the dog days of summer, you're going to want something to slough off the grime from long, sticky days. This triple-powered exfoliant scrub infused with papaya and pineapple enzymes is it. I’ve only been using it a few days but it leaves me with that extra clean feeling and I already see a more visibly radiant glow. Bonus: it's biodegradable!
I love a makeup and skincare hybrid. Dermablend has married both with this mist. It makes makeup smudge-, transfer- and water-resistant up to 24 hours. Plus, it's formulated with witch hazel, allantoin and willow leaf extract to soothe stressed out skin. I’ll mist several times a day and use an ‘X’ motion to make sure the product gets everywhere it needs to be.

I like to keep my morning skincare routine pretty simple and save the product layering for nighttime. That’s why I love this sunscreen-moisturizer-serum hybrid so much. The vegan formula contains broad-spectrum SPF 30 to protect my skin from UV rays and replenishing hyaluronic acid to draw in moisture, all in one step. It’s lightweight and absorbs quickly so I can apply my makeup on top almost immediately.
When I want to give my skin a super deep clean, this is the product I reach for. Because I have dry, sensitive skin, I don’t like to use it too often, but it’s perfect for once a week (or even once every two weeks) to gently exfoliate and remove any pore-congesting buildup. It contains charcoal powder to help remove dead skin cells and draw out any gunk trapped in my skin.

After trying dozens of retinol products that made my skin super dry and irritated, I finally found the one that works for my sensitive, redness-prone skin. This new daily serum from Kiehl’s works to reduce wrinkles, firm skin, minimize pores and even out skin texture thanks to a potent microdose of 0.1% pure retinol, and is also formulated with ceramides and peptides to strengthen the skin’s moisture barrier to prevent redness and dryness. I apply one pump of the soothing, lightweight cream every night before bed and since I started using it, my skin feels comfortable but also looks more refined and firm.
This is golden hour in a bottle. Infused with 24-karat gold, the lightweight oil feels like a lotion as it’s smoothed into the skin thanks to a luxe combination of shea butter, sweet almond oil and sunflower oil. I especially love applying it along my collar bones on a night out because It leaves me with a natural golden sheen without excessive sparkle — plus it smells simply divine.

As someone with oily, acne-prone skin, I have pretty big pores. Though I’ve come to terms with them over the years, I couldn’t help but wonder if the Bye Bye Pores serum could help shrink my pores, even if just a little bit. Spoiler alert: it’s made all the difference. Formulated with 10% glycolic acid, this serum exfoliates my textured skin ー leaving it looking smoother and more even ー making my pores way less noticeable.

Face masks are one of my favorite parts of my skincare routine. While I don’t apply one daily, they’re perfect for when I have time to give my skin some extra pampering. I’ve been absolutely loving this new release from Peter Thomas Roth. It’s formulated with 20% hyaluronic acid as well as vitamin c, aloe and caffeine. Not only does it provide my skin with an extra boost of hydration, but the cooling sensation is incredibly relaxing, too. It’s been my go-to self care product lately.
